I know…I know…I am usually all about rock n’ roll. But the softer side of me finds myself in more chill venues/events supporting some of the musicians I have met around town. I usually go to the same open mics over and over, so it doesn’t take long to find the serious musicians. They are all an affectionate bunch and eager to play music. Most of them are singer songwriters and most of them are way too talented to just be playing at open mics.
Some of them know it and branch out from time to time…so when I can I get out to one of their events.
I am likely to have regular updates here about events at The Camel, Another Round Bar & Grill, Carytown Coffee in Midlothian and Thirsty Joe’s…just to name a few.
